This site runs light. We don't chase you around the web, and we don't load advertising trackers. This page lays out the small set of cookies and similar storage the site actually uses.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website can store in your browser to remember something between page loads. Related tools — like your browser's local storage — do a similar job. Both can be cleared or blocked from your browser at any time.

What we use

Essential storage. These keep the site working: remembering a preference during your visit, holding form input if a page reloads, and basic security. The site can't function properly without them, so they don't need consent.

Anonymous analytics (only if enabled). If and when we measure traffic, we use privacy-respecting, aggregate counts — how many people viewed the toolkit page, roughly where visits come from — with no cross-site profiles and nothing that identifies you personally. We never sell this data.

We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we don't embed third-party pixels that follow you elsewhere.

Turning them off

You're in charge. Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies and clear local storage from its settings — usually under "Privacy" or "Site data". You can block everything, allow only first-party storage, or wipe it whenever you like. Blocking essential storage may make parts of the site behave oddly, such as a form losing what you typed, but nothing will break for good.

Third-party fonts

We load a couple of typefaces from Google Fonts so the site reads the way it's designed. That request reaches Google's servers to fetch the font files; it isn't used by us to profile you. If you'd rather avoid it, a content blocker will stop the request, and the site falls back to your system fonts.
