About HUDCraft
A game-interface studio in Belém, Pará
We'll keep this practical. HUDCraft is a small UX/UI studio built around one stubborn belief: a game's interface should never be the reason players get lost. We design and review menus, HUDs and onboarding for studios that know their UI is holding the game back but don't have a dedicated interface designer in the room — then we packed what kept working into a kit anyone can drop in.
Why the toolkit exists
Doing client work, we noticed we kept solving the same problems. A health bar players missed in a firefight. A settings screen with tabs nobody could find. A first session that lost people before the tutorial finished. The fixes rhymed from project to project, so we started keeping the patterns that worked — stripped of client styling, rebuilt as a clean, restyleable base.
That collection became the Game UI Toolkit. It's the head start a small team would get from hiring an interface designer, minus the retainer: components in every state, full-screen templates on one grid, named tokens, and a field guide that explains the reasoning instead of just handing over pretty parts.
Who it's for
Two-person indies, jam crews racing a deadline, studios between hires, solo developers shipping a first title. If you can build systems but stall at the menu, this is the missing manual with the parts already drawn. When a team needs more than a base — a second opinion on a real build — that's what the design-review add-on is for.
How we work
Practical over precious. We'd rather ship you something usable this sprint than a perfect thing next quarter. The kit is a living product: buy a version and you get its updates, and when players or you find a rough edge, we fix it. We answer email in a day, we tell you when something isn't a fit, and we don't oversell what a template can do.
Where to find us
We're based in Campina, in central Belém, and work across Brazilian time zones with teams anywhere. Come say hello, tell us what you're building, or just ask whether the toolkit makes sense for your game. Reach us at [email protected] or through the contact page.
